One of the most technologically advanced performing arts venues in the Midlands, Harbison Theatre at Midlands Technical College presents high-quality performances and events that strengthen the education of our students, deepen our relationship with the community, and make the Midlands a region where people love to learn, work, play, and prosper.
Welcome to the 2014-15 season at Harbison Theatre at Midlands Technical College. Since our doors opened in 2010, more than 35,000 of you have joined us for great performances. We value this opportunity to expand the relationship between your household and Midlands Technical College!
We are committed to bringing you the best in the performing arts and humanities, and this season is no exception. We’ve established a three-show Pops Series with the S.C. Philharmonic and have enticed some big-name talent to the Midlands. We think there’s something for everyone!
This season, we are happy to announce the creation of the Harbison Stage Society. An annual giving opportunity, Harbison Stage Society members receive the option to purchase single tickets months before the general public. Members also receive the occasional opportunity to peer behind the scenes at the theatre, and members’ names will be noted in each playbill throughout the season. Donations to the Harbison Stage Society are completely tax deductible, and more information may be found at HarbisonTheatre.org.
During our first two seasons, nearly every show was a sell-out, and I encourage you to reserve your seats by taking advantage of our subscription packages. As always, we’d love to hear your ideas and input as we continue to grow the theatre’s programming (two of this year’s performances were suggested to us by audience members!) so feel free to pick up the phone or drop us an email.
We’ll see you at the theatre!
