If you're a MTC faculty or staff member, student, or alumni, you're invited to show off! We can't wait to see what you'll share!
If musical accompaniment is needed, a keyboard will be provided at the audition. All other accompaniments must be provided by the auditionee. If you are accompanied during the audition, you must also be accompanied during the finale.

There will be a panel of judges in an "America’s Got Talent" - style competition at the final performance, and contestants will have the chance to win $1,000 (Biggest Showoff) or $500 (Audience Favorite) and perform on the HT@MTC stage before a packed crowd. This year we are adding to the Audience Favorite award by offering two categories, one exclusively for students/alumni and the other for faculty/staff, both valued at $500.
Here’s the breakdown:
- Open Auditions: Tuesday, January 23, 2024 | 1 PM - 7 PM
- Location: Harbison Theatre | 7300 College Street, Irmo, SC 29063
- Enjoy complimentary pizza, refreshments, and connecting with fellow Mavericks during your audition time.
- Finalists should expect 2-3 rehearsals to be determined on an individual basis between being selected and the final showcase.
- Final showcase at Harbison Theatre in front of a live audience: March 30 at 7:30 PM
