Harbison Theatre is proud to announce that Eddie Montgomery, of the acclaimed country duo Montgomery Gentry, will headline a special performance to launch the 50th Anniversary of the Irmo Okra Strut on September 25, 2025.
As one of the most recognizable voices in country music, Montgomery continues to deliver a blend of rowdy anthems and heartfelt ballads that have defined his career. His new EP, “Home Run,” features a fresh take on Montgomery Gentry’s breakout single “Hillbilly Shoes.”
The project reflects Montgomery’s promise to his late musical partner, Troy Gentry, who tragically passed away in 2017. “I’m keepin’ it going, I’m keepin’ my promise,” Montgomery said. “A day don’t go by I don’t talk about him. A day don’t go by I don’t miss him.”
With a career spanning over two decades, Montgomery has built a legacy of chart-topping hits and electrifying live shows that continue to resonate with fans both old and new.
